Trandence

You’ve seen the numbers. You know you overtrade on Wednesdays. You know your success rate drops when you’re tired. But knowing is not the same as understanding why, and understanding is not the same as knowing what to do about it.

That’s where the Performance Analyzer steps in. It doesn’t just flag patterns — it delivers actionable, data-backed verdicts that tell you exactly what happened, why it matters, and how to fix it.

Two Levels ofalgorithmic engine Analysis

Trandence provides two distinct tiers ofalgorithmic engine-powered analysis. Understanding the difference is key to getting maximum value from the platform.

Performance Analyzer (Included for Pro Users)

The Performance Analyzer runs locally and evaluates how you traded — your execution discipline, behavioral patterns, and risk management. It’s available on three surfaces:

Dashboard: An Data Summary that analyzes your overall performance across the selected time period — highlighting your primary strength, critical weakness, and a specific actionable plan.

Day Report: A session-level analysis that evaluates intraday behavior — giveback, revenge trading, post-streak patterns, holding asymmetry, and overtrading.

Symbol Report: A per-symbol analysis that contextualizes your execution against your Playbook rules and logged mistakes.

The Performance Analyzer report is displayed as a Bento Grid card with four sections:

SectionWhat It Contains
Key StrengthYour standout positive — backed by specific data points
Critical WeaknessYour single biggest behavioral leak, identified deterministically
Coach’s Deep Dive3–4 sentence analytical paragraph connecting the weakness to other data
Actionable PlanTwo specific, concrete steps to implement in your next session

The status badge shows “On Track” (green) or “Needs Work” (red) based on your P&L.

Data Deep Dive (Costs Credits)

The Deep Dive is a fundamentally different analysis. It calls a cloud API (Gemini) and enriches your trade data with external market context that the local Performance Analyzer cannot access. Deep Dives consume credits from your credit balance.

A Deep Dive can be triggered on:

  • Any Day Report — analyze a full trading session with macro context
  • Any Symbol Report — analyze a specific ticker with catalyst and sector data

The Deep Dive report includes sections that go far beyond execution discipline:

  1. Trade Summary: Net P&L, execution count, position sizing overview
  2. Catalyst & News Context: Earnings reports, analyst upgrades/downgrades, CEO statements, and market-moving events that affected the stock
  3. Macro & Market Environment: How SPY, QQQ, and sector indices behaved during your session — was the broader market helping or hurting you?
  4. Sector & Relative Strength: Short interest, float analysis, and whether your ticker decoupled from its sector
  5. Timing & Execution Verdict: Entry/exit timing relative to key price levels and momentum shifts
  6. Risk Assessment: Position sizing efficiency and commission drag analysis
  7. Key Takeaway: The single most important lesson from this session
  8. Psychology & Self-Awareness: Honest assessment of your self-grading accuracy and emotional discipline
  9. Sources: Links to external data sources (finviz.com, nasdaq.com, schaeffersresearch.com) used in the analysis

In short: The Performance Analyzer tells you what you did wrong. The Deep Dive tells you why it happened and whether the market environment supported or undermined your thesis.

The Weakness Synthesis (Dashboard)

On the Dashboard, the Performance Analyzer also provides a Weakness Synthesis mode — a specialized analysis that examines trends across multiple sessions. This report uses a three-panel structure:

  1. Primary Diagnosis: The root behavioral pattern causing the most damage
  2. Cascading Effect: How that pattern compounds and creates downstream problems in your equity curve
  3. Master Intervention: A single, specific protocol to break the cycle

This synthesis is particularly powerful because it reveals patterns that are invisible at the individual session level — recurring weaknesses that only emerge when analyzed across weeks or months of trading data.

Enabling and Configuring the Performance Analyzer

The Performance Analyzer can be enabled or disabled from Settings → Performance Analyzer. When enabled:

  • Standard session and symbol verdicts are generated automatically (on the Dashboard) or on-demand.
  • Deep Dive analysis can be triggered manually on any Day Report or Symbol Report, consuming credits from your balance.
  • You can Clearalgorithmic engine Cache from Settings if you want to regenerate all verdicts from scratch — useful after importing historical data or modifying playbooks.

The Performance Analyzer improves over time as your data grows. The more sessions you log, the more precise the behavioral pattern detection becomes — turning your trading journal into a continuously learning accountability system.
