TradeStation allows you to download your stock and option trade data from their web client center through the Tax Center.
Exporting from TradeStation
- Go to TradeStation’s web client center and log in.
- Click on Accounts in the header panel.
- Click on Equities Accounts from the left panel.
- Select Tax Center from the dropdown list under Equities Account.
- Under the Download Tax Activity section, set File Format to Microsoft Excel CSV.
- Select the date range of trades you would like to import.
- Check Exclude Broken/Canceled Trades.
- Click Download and save the file to your computer.
Note: TradeStation only allows you to download 6 months of data at a time. To export one year of data, you will need to run two separate exports.
Importing to Trandence
- Open Trandence and navigate to the Trades page.
- Click the Import Trades button in the top right corner and select Upload CSV.
- Choose TradeStation and match your CSV’s timezone.
- Upload your saved file.
- Important: On the Review screen, use the Batch Tags field to assign a custom tag (e.g., “TS Equities”). This is crucial if you track multiple brokerage accounts within Trandence.
- Click Import & Review Summary to finish.
