Tastytrade / Tastyworks
Trandence supports two ways to import your trades from Tastytrade (Tastyworks): Automated Direct API Sync (recommended) or Manual CSV File Export.
Option 1: Automated Direct API Sync
Automated sync connects directly to the Tastytrade Open API to import your US equity executions, commission fees, and regulatory costs seamlessly.
Connecting in Trandence
- In Trandence, open Broker Sync from the sidebar.
- Click Connect Tastytrade.
- Select your environment (Live or Sandbox).
- Enter your Tastytrade Username or Email and Password (plus your 2FA code if Two-Factor Authentication is enabled on your Tastytrade account).
- Click Connect Tastytrade.
- Trandence authenticates with Tastytrade, links your account, and allows background or on-demand trade synchronization with full fee drag tracking.
Option 2: Manual CSV File Export
If you prefer exporting files from the Tastytrade desktop application:
Exporting from the Desktop App
- Open the Tastytrade desktop application.
- Click on the History tab (clock icon).
- Click on Transactions on the left side.
- Ensure the year-to-date button is not selected and set your date filter.
- Click the CSV button on the right side to download the file.
Uploading to Trandence
- Open Trandence and navigate to Trades → Import Trades → Upload CSV/TXT.
- Select Tastyworks as the broker.
- Verify the timezone (America/New_York) and drop your CSV file.
- Review the parsed executions and click Import & Review Summary.
What Trandence Reads
Trandence reads equity trade executions (Action, Symbol, Quantity, Average Price, Commissions, Fees, Date), automatically tracking brokerage commission and regulatory fee drag for performance analytics.
